Tour Overview

Charles Darwin compiled his theory of evolution after observing the unique behaviour of the vast array of specially-adapted animals on the Galapagos Islands and the remarkable archipelago remains essentially unchanged to this day. As we explore the lunar-like landscapes, we see iguanas, tortoises and sea lions and we will understand how easy it is to become inspired by such a paradise. Several days of cruising among these islands allows us time to discover the wildlife and flora in coves and bays that have enjoyed entirely uninterrupted evolution. This tour not only opens the door to the glorious achievements of Mother Nature, but we will also witness Machu Picchu in Peru, an example of what kind of beauty ancient societies were capable of, and from here, it's on to one of the great mysteries of the ages; the 2,000 year old Nazca Lines that span the landscape. After we've landed, another line of particular interest is the equatorial line, where we have the chance to have a foot in different hemispheres simultaneously.
