About North America

Mexico is a feast for the senses. Explore curvaceous beaches and mist-shrouded jungles or admire Aztec pyramids and colourful festivals. Our small group North America tours let you enjoy it all at your own pace, from standing in the shadow of ancient wonders to dancing in the streets of colonial-era towns.

Our tours also include visits to Newfoundland, Yukon, and Alaska. In these wild regions, you’ll find yourself surrounded by sky-piercing mountains, creaking ice fields and pine-studded islands. This thinly populated part of the world is the domain of myriad wildlife too, including lynx, grizzly bears, orcas and humpback whales.
Newfoundland & Labrador
A unique journey through the rugged and pristine beauty of Canada's easternmost province, as well as the charming French islands located just off its coast. Featuring quaint fishing villages, stunning national parks, and historic towns, one can learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region. Highlights of the tour include visits to Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the viking settlement of L'Anse aux Meadows, and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

  •
When is the best time to visit North America?
North America sees a significant amount of variation in its temperature. Due to the harsh winters in Alaska and Yukon, most travellers visit during summer (mid-June to mid-August). Arrive in June and July to enjoy long warm days and the best chance of spotting wildlife, including bears, moose, seals, and whales.

We recommend visiting Newfoundland and Labrador between early-July to mid-August — the weather is warmer and the icebergs are generally most active.

For Central Mexico, the dry season (December-April) is a great time to visit as there’s virtually no rain. The Pacific Islands are popular during July and August when the weather is dry and pleasant. Please be aware of the cyclone season between October and April.
