- Is Uganda safe?In general, Uganda is safe for travellers provided you stay with your tour guide. Do not stray from your group. Violent and petty crimes are normal occurrences outside of tour groups, but if you take the proper precautions and listen to your guide, you should be fine.
- When is the best time to visit UgandaThe best times to visit Uganda are during its two dry seasons. The first dry season runs between December and February. Fewer tourists are found during this transitional time, and the weather is temperate. The second dry season runs between June and August, when mountain gorillas are at their peak and tourists are plentiful.
