Alternatively, tourist visas can be obtained upon landing at Bole International Airport. A single-entry 30-day visa is available for $52 while a single-entry 90-day visa is $72.
- Is Ethiopia safe?Overall, Ethiopia is a very safe destination for travellers and you’re unlikely to encounter any issues. Levels of violent crime are low and extremely rare against tourists. However, you should be wary of thieves and con artists (particularly in Addis Ababa). Remain vigilant in bus terminals and markets, where pickpockets are sometimes known to operate.
