In the last post our Adventures Abroad group visited the Malta National Museum of Archaeology where we saw some of the artefacts found at the various places that make up the UNESCO World Heritage Site The Megalithic Temples of Malta. This is my third post from a recent Adventures Abroad trip to Malta which was led by veteran guide and our friend Victor Romagnoli. In the first post I described getting to Malta while managing the many Covid protocols in place between countries, airlines and even hotel chains. In the second I extolled the excellent variety of meals and the wines to go with them that we had on this trip that made it so much more than just a sight seeing excursion. This is my second post from a recent six day sojourn to the country of Malta with Adventures Abroad led by veteran guide and friend Victor Romagnoli. In the first post, I explained why Alison and I chose Malta as our first international destination since full vaccination allowed travel outside Canada for the first time in almost two years. I also tried to convey what it was like travelling abroad while complying with all of the Covid restrictions imposed by the jurisdictions we had to satisfy which were Canada, Germany and Malta and also Air Canada, Lufthansa and Hilton Hotels. In this post I’m going to focus on what the Adventures Abroad traveller can expect from the Maltese food and drink you’ll experience on this trip.
