Northern Italy is by far our most popular offering in Western Europe. This main two-week cultural program highlights all the special sights, sounds, scents, and tastes that have made this magical place a must for even the most seasoned traveller. This is a highlight-packed though well-paced journey from Rome to Siena, Pisa, the Cinque Terre, Florence and Venice via Ravenna. Our special brand of group travel allows for a thorough and varied experience, with the greater flexibility afforded by our small group size.

It was great traveling with the 9 of us. This was the best tour we have taken with AA. We loved all our trips. Victor is a true professional.

Victor is so good he is off this chart. There are tour leaders, and good tour leaders and then there is Victor. My God he is helpful-- Unbelievable! I love him to the length and depth and breadth he has in information. Not to mention his humor and humanity

Yvette has a great deal of first-hand knowledge of the Mediterranean world, so she not only gave us insight into Italy past and present, she also shared her experience and view of the politics in the Mediterranean region, including Tunesia, which was in the news during our entire trip. Her cosmopolitan background, world knowledge, general intelligence and smooth dealings with restaurants, tour guides, etc, makes her my new #1 Favorite Tour Leader.

Lindsay was someone we would all love to add to our family. She treated us like we were so special. We were very pleased with the excursions on the tour, from the Colosseum to St. Peters Square in Venice. Assisi, Sienna, San Gimignano, Volterra and especially Lerici with the beautiful Cinque Terre at our doorstep. Florence was beautiful, but oh so busy, then on to Ravenna, Verona and Padova. It was all so great.

Yvette is extrememly organized, meticulous in her planning, obviously very knowledgable and has a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and hope that we can travel with her again. She works very hard to make the tour a success and wonderful experience for everyone.

It was a great tour. I particularly liked the hike in Chinque Terre, the visits to Assissi, Volterra, Verona and Padua. We had some excellent local guides, especially in Rome,Volterra/ Pisa and Assissi. Lindsay is an exceptional person. Her enthusiasm, poise, charm, knowledge, love of people and travel permeated everything she said and did. I would travel with her anytime!

Lindsay showed great enthusiasm for her work. She made sure that everyone was always included. She was very knowledgeable and well read and well prepared and well organized. I thought she was fantastic. I would book another trip with AA just knowing that Lindsay would be our guide.
