Spending the day in the rainforest that encircles Mount Meru in Arusha National Park brings with it an extraordinary opportunity to see some of the most spectacular scenery that Africa has to offer and that same scenery serves as the perfect backdrop for the photos of the many zebras, giraffes and buffalo that we will be taking. We will be overwhelmed by the visuals, from the lush rolling hills to the quaint villages scattered throughout the area, which speed past us while we take a ride along rural dirt roads. The vehicle will be going to some of the remotest locations on Earth, where we would never have imagined going to before, but not to worry, we'll have a chance to step out and actually explore these areas as we take day-long hikes throughout the mountains. One of the many rewards of the trek will be witnessing the glistening glaciers of Mount Kilmanjaro up-close. The Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park are small pieces of aesthetic paradises on Earth, where we will have more opportunities to spot some exotic animals, but nothing will compare to watching the Colobus Monkeys play amid the trees on the island of Zanzibar.
