India Tours

Dear Travellers,

Our tour itineraries are never static; they evolve in parallel to changes at the destinations they visit or in conjunction with feedback from clients — new transit routes open up, new sites become accessible and fashionable, new hotels are built and preferable alternatives present themselves. India, a hugely diverse and abundant country, is just such a place and we are delighted to announce a re-vamped series of tours to this fascinating destination. We have added some exciting, up-and-coming destinations and have retained some timeless "must-see" sites to make for a perfectly balanced and comprehensive set of trips. And better yet, we're offering some fantastic, limited-time-only discounts on most of our India itineraries!

Happy travels!

New Tours

Mandawa : Located in the northeast of Rajasthan, Mandawa is famous for its heritage havelis and colourful fresco art. As you approach the site, it seems to emerge from the sand like a mirage.

Orchha: A mediaeval city frozen in time, existing today as it must have been in the 16th and 17th centuries. One of the finest sights is the view of the cenotaphs from across the Betwa River.

Khajuraho: Built between 950 and 1050 AD, Kharjuraho's temples are among the most creative examples of Indian architecture. Their carvings depict gods in cosmic evolution, griffins, nymphs, demons in revolt and numerous human emotions — fear, doubt, jealousy, ardent love and consummate passion.

Bikaner: Founded at the close of the 15th century, Bikaner stands on high ground, surrounded by fine embattled walls. The fort contains palaces, temples and a mosque, mostly made of red and yellow sandstone. The marble images are considered to be the finest specimens of Hindu art.

Manvar: An ideal base to explore Indian desert life, culture, wildlife and natural beauty. Our night at a comfortable desert camp is enlivened by a campfire, and local musicians and dancers.

Badami: The capital of the Early Chalukyas, who ruled much of Karnataka in the 6th to 8th centuries, lies at the mouth of a ravine with rocky hills on either side. The town is known for its spectacular ancient cave temples carved out of the sandstone hills above.
